Renal calculi can develop in any part of urinary tract but mostly found in renal pelvis or in calyces. Renal calculi are also known as kidney stones, these are solid crystals aggregation formed in the kidneys from the dietary minerals present in the urine. These stones are mainly located in the kidney, ureter, and bladder. Size of the calculi differs and they can be one or more than one. Renal calculi develops when there is amount of urine is less and stone forming components are more, anyone can suffer from this men and women and even in children also but it is rare in them.
If the person is suffering from this disease may have these symptoms like – fever, chills, abnormal urine color, flank pain, nausea, vomiting, urinary frequency, blood in the urine, painful urination, colicky, urinary hesitancy, abdominal pain, groin pain etc. these calculi can failure the renal system, which will affect our body badly and due to which many problems cab arise.
These both are treated same but both differ a lot acute one is sudden while chronic is of long time. The main function of the kidney is to remove wastes from our body in the form of urine, the urine passes from the tube called ureters to the bladder. The bladder stores urine, when kidneys separate the waste product from our body, they get dissolved. Sometimes they form crystal inside the kidney, these solid products gather and comes out in the form of renal calculi.
If these stones flows in the urine then there will be no problem, if these stones gather in the same form that will create problem and these small stones will become large ones. These stones cause severe pain in the abdominal part of your body, you may feel week, this disease also occurs in those persons who have this hereditary disease like – Renal Tubular Acidosis. Due to hyperparathyroidism, people may suffer from this disease. It is not necessary that if you get rid from some stones you may not suffer in future they can be developed again in your body.

Struvite Stone – These types of stones are developed when there in any infection in your urinary system.
Cystine Stone – The disorder can cause this stones, these are the rare stones, they can be controlled by the medication and other treatments.
Calcium Oxalate – These stones are formed when our body does not absorb some of the calcium and they gather and form these types of stones, these stones are very common and can be controlled by medications and treatment.
Uric Acid Stone – These stones are formed when your urine contains too much acid and cannot absorb by the body.
These are the some crucial types of stones and they can be controlled by the treatment. The treatment depends on the types and the symptoms of the patient.
